NELSON GOVERNMENT GAZETTE.
No. 2. To stop up part of a road in the district of Moutere Hills, colored blue on the plan attached to this application, and described as follows, viz.:—
That portion of a road commencing on another road forming the north-east boundary of Section No. 115 (Cemetery Reserve), at a point about 13 chains from the main road in the Moutere; thence proceeding in a general southerly direction about 16 chains, between Sections 115 and 35; thence through 35 Section, about 11 chains; thence between 35 and 1 of 36, about 29 chains; thence through 2 of 81, about 18 chains; thence through 37b, about 22 chains, thence between 37b and 38, about 9 chains, meeting the road to be substituted.
And to substitute a certain other road 60 links wide, colored pink on the plan attached to this application, and described as follows, viz.:—
That portion of a road commencing at a point on the road lying between Sections No. IV. and 38, about 9 1/2 chains, south of the north-east corner of the former Section, proceeding thence through No. 38, about 2 chains in a south-easterly direction; thence in a general north-easterly direction, about 22 chains; thence in the same direction through No. 37b, meeting another road lying between that Section and No. 162, at a point about 18 1/2 chains from the south-eastern corner of the former Section.

This alteration will involve no expense, as a portion of one road will be exchanged for other by the owner of 37b.
No. 3. To open a road, 75 links wide, in the Wai-wero district, colored pink on the plan attached to this application, and described as follows, viz.:—
That portion of a road formerly stopped up lying between Section 1 of 53, and No. 42, being about 13 chains long, commencing at the main road from Motueka to Wai-wero; thence proceeding through Section No. 42 in a southerly direction for about 20 chains, thence through the north-east corner of Section No. 43 in a general south east direction, for about 5 chains to the boundary of Section 2 of 53; thence through that Section, (through which a right of road is reserved), for about 29 chains, in a south-easterly direction; thence through the north-east corner of Section No. 44, in a southerly direction, terminating at a point about 12 chains from its southern angle; thence through lands through which right of road is reserved.

No. 4. To open a road at the junction of the Wai-wero with the Motueka river, colored pink on the plan attached to this application, and described as follows, viz.:—
That portion of a road lying partly within the northern boundary of Section part of 51, and partly within Crown Land, commencing at a point on the road along the river bank, about 8 chains from the northern angle of the said Section, thence proceeding inland about 7 chains in a north-easterly direction, crossing the Waiwero stream, thence along the eastern boundary line of the said section, and continuing in a straight line and in a northerly direction about 7 chains, till it meets the above-mentioned road by the river bank.
