PROPOSED ALTERATION OF ROADS IN GOLDEN BAY DISTRICT.

VI.

1. To stop up parts of a road in the Onahau District, Golden Bay, being the road line laid down on square numbered 13 of the plan of the Province of Nelson, and which is colored blue on the plan attached to this application, and is more particularly described as follows:—

The portion of the road dividing sections numbered respectively 62, and 67, from sections numbered respectively 61, 63, and 66, commencing about 21 chains southwards from the line of division between sections numbered 61 and 63, and terminating at the banks of the Onahau, about 12 chains north of the road forming the southern boundary of section numbered 67; about 50 chains, 50 links, and 12 chains.

And to substitute in the place thereof a certain other road, one chain in width, and which is shown by pink color on the plan attached to this application, and is more particularly described as follows:—

The portion of road which crosses sections numbered respectively 61, 62, 63, and 66, commencing at the line of road shown on plan in section 61, about 21 chains southwards from the line of division between sections numbered 61 and 63, and terminating at the line of road laid down on plan dividing sections 66 and 67, at a point about 13 chains along the western boundary line of section numbered 66, measuring from its southern angle, about 70 chains.

2. To stop up parts of a road in Onakaka District of Golden Bay, being the line of road laid down on square numbered 14 of the plan of the Province of Nelson, and which is shown by blue color on the plan attached to this application, and is more particularly described as follows:—

The portion of road dividing sections numbered respectively 81, 87, 94, 95, and 99, from sections numbered respectively 79, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, and 98, commencing at the division line between sections numbered 78 and 79, and terminating at the line of road proposed to be substituted at its crossing on the southern boundary of section numbered 99; about 207 and 18 chains.

4. The portion of road forming a portion of the north-west boundary line of section numbered 87, about 6 chains.

5. The portion of road forming the north-west boundary of section numbered 95, about 40 chains; and

6. The portion of road dividing section numbered 99 from section numbered 100; about 17 chains.

And to substitute in the place thereof a certain other road in the same district, one chain in width, and which is shown on the plan attached to this application by pink color, and is more particularly described as follows:—

1. The portion of road which crosses sections numbered respectively 80, 82, 81, 83, 86, 87, 94, 95, 93, 98; and dividing section numbered 67, from section numbered 100, commencing at the road line between sections numbered 75 and 80, at a point opposite to the road between sections numbered 74 and 75, and erminating at the division line between sections numbered 100 and 103; about 305 chains.

2. The portion of road crossing section numbered 81, commencing at the terminus of the road between sections 79 and 88, and continuing in the same direction as the last named road, and terminating at the road crossing the north-western angle of section numbered 81; about 30 chains.
