PROPOSED ALTERATION OF ROADS IN THE TAKAKA DISTRICT.
IV.
To stop up parts a road in the Takaka district, being the road laid down on the plan of the district leading down the western side of the Takaka Valley, and which is shewn by blue color on the plan attached to this application, and is more particularly described as follows :—
- The portion of road which crosses sections numbered respectively 7 and 6, on square numbered 8, commencing from the division line of sections numbered respectively 3 and 7, and terminating at the division line between sections numbered respectively 6 and 1; about 60 chains.
And to substitute in the place thereof a certain other road in the same district, 1 chain in width, and which is shown by pink color on the plan attached to this application, and is more particularly described as follows:—
The portion of road commencing from the division line between sections numbered respectively 3 and 7, and crossing the said section 7, to the division line between sections numbered respectively 7 and 11, about 13 chains; thence along the boundary of section numbered 7, about 17 chains, to the junction with the road marked on plan; also, the portion of road crossing section numbered 6, from the road on plan to the division line between sections numbered 6 and 1, about 18 chains; and also, the portion of road crossing the said section numbered 6 from the bank of the River Takaka to the division line between the sections numbered respectively 6 and 1, about 4 chains.
