II.—WAITANGI AND WAITOTARA.

ROBERT BAKER.

  1. The ferry to be worked by boat.

  2. The amount of subsidy to be £50 per annum.

  3. The occupation allowed of 25 acres of land on north bank.

  4. Protection allowed on both sides of the river for half a mile each way, from the point at which the boat starts.

  5. Term of lease, five years.

  6. Schedule of charges:—

    s. d.

    For every horse, with or without rider ... 3 0

    For every passenger ... 2 0

  7. Government Officers, on duty, free of charge.


III.—SALTWATER.

JOHN ALLEN.

  1. The same as in No. 2.

  3. The occupation allowed of 25 acres of land, behind the Maori Reserve, on north bank.

  4. Protection allowed on both sides of the river for half a mile each way, from the point where the boat starts, except for horsemen when fordable.
