intendent of the said Province, either solely
or with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Province, by
any Act of the General Assembly or by any
Ordinance mentioned in the Schedule to the
said "County of Westland Act, 1868"
annexed, except as therein is excepted, shall
within the said County, become vested in the
Chairman of the County Council.

And, whereas the said "Cattle Trespass
Ordinance, No. 2, Session XVII., No. 13,"
is included in the schedule to the said Act,
Now therefore, I, Conrad Hoos, Chairman
of the County Council of Westland, do
hereby proclaim and declare that on and
after the 15th day of September, 1869, the
said "Cattle Trespass Ordinance, No. 2,"
shall be and the same is hereby brought into
operation in the Townships of Goldsborough,
Stafford, Kanieri, and Ross.

Given under my hand at Hokitika, this
eleventh day of September, one thousand
eight hundred and sixty-nine.

NOTICE is hereby given that a sitting
of the Hokitika Circuit Court, for
the dispatch of Criminal and Civil business,
will be held at the Supreme Court House,
Hokitika, on Friday the tenth instant, at
ten o’clock in the forenoon, at which time
and place all persons under recognizances or
otherwise bound to appear as prosecutors,
defendants, or witnesses are required to give
their attendance.

day dissolved by mutual consent.

of Greymouth, and to exercise all the powers
contained in clause 332 of the said Act.
