Turanganui Block, Wairarapa

PUBLIC NOTICE.

Crown Lands Office,
Wellington, 30th July, 1869.

NOTICE is hereby given that about 727 acres of Land in the Turanganui Block, Wairarapa, will be open for purchase and selection, at this office, on and after Tuesday, the 24th day of August next, under the Land Regulations of the Province.

A plan of the Land is open for inspection.

Sheep Inspectors’ Reports

Provincial Secretary’s Office,
Wellington, 31st July, 1869.

THE Inspector of Sheep for the Wairarapa District reports that on the 30th May, he gave a clean certificate to

MRS. REID, TARATAHI,

and cancelled the Scabby one.

On the 15th July, gave a Scabby certificate to

MR. GEORGE BURNETT, TEWITI,

and cancelled the clean one.

The Inspector of Sheep for the East Coast District reports that on the 16th June he examined the Sheep of

CHARLES CUNDY, TAUERU,

and found them infected with Scab.

On the 16th June, C. T. DAROY, Taueru, reported his sheep as being Scabby.

On the 23rd June, he received notice from Messrs. Wilton and Davenport, Tauerau, (dated 10th June) that Scab had appeared in their flock of sheep.
