January, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven, and that Wednesday, the twelfth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-six be the day appointed for a meeting of the Creditors of the said Petitioner at the Grand Jury Room of the Supreme Court House, Wellington, at twelve o’clock, noon, for the purpose of recommending a Trustee to the estate of the said Petitioner; it is further ordered that William Robert Edward Brown, Esquire, Inspector of Bankruptcy, Wellington, be appointed Sequestrator of the estate and effects of the said Petitioner; and that this order be deemed a vesting order within the meaning of Section 8 of “The Debtors and Creditors Act, 1865.”

In the matter of the Petition of John Hagan, of the Upper Hutt, in the Province of Wellington, farmer, now a prisoner in Her Majesty’s gaol in Wellington for debt:

On Monday, the 10th day of December, 1866:
ON reading the Petition of the said Petitioner filed herein, and the several affidavits thereunto annexed, and on hearing Mr. Izard of Counsel for the Petitioner, it is ordered that the said Petition be accepted, and that the said Petitioner do come up for hearing at the Supreme Court House at Wellington on Tuesday, the fifteenth day of January next, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon; and that a meeting of the Creditors of the said Petitioner be held at the Grand Jury Room at Wellington on Friday, the 21st day of December instant, at the hour of eleven o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of recommending Trustees for the said estate, and the mode of winding up the same; and that in the meantime William Robert Edward Brown, Inspector of Bankruptcy, be appointed Sequestrator of the estate and effects of the said Petitioner; and it is hereby ordered that this order shall be a vesting order in accordance with the provisions of the said Act of 1865: and it is hereby ordered that the person of the said Petitioner and his goods and chattels shall be protected from all processes of arrest, save only against any which may be issued against him under the “Writ of Arrest Act” to the satisfaction of a Judge of this Honorable Court, or of a Registrar thereof in his absence.

On Thursday, the eighth day of November, 1866:
ON reading the Petition of John M’Kenzie, and the affidavits of John M’Kenzie and Donald George M’Donald filed herein, and on hearing Mr. Izard of Counsel for the said John M’Kenzie, it is ordered that the said Petition be accepted, and that the said Petitioner come up for hearing on the fifteenth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon, at the Supreme Court House at Wellington; and that a meeting of the Creditors of the said John M’Kenzie be held at the office of Matthew Vere Hodge, of Wanganui, Solicitor, on the fourth day of December next, at the hour of eleven o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of recommending Trustees and the mode of winding up the said estate; and that in the meantime William Robert Edward Brown, the Inspector of Bankruptcy in the said Province, be appointed ad interim Sequestrator of the said estate; and it is further ordered that the present order be a vesting order as provided by “The Debtors and Creditors Act, 1865;” provided however that nothing herein contained shall protect the person of the said Petitioner from any writ of arrest which may issue against him under “The Writ of Arrest Act” to the satisfaction of a Judge of this Honorable Court, or of a Registrar thereof in the absence of a Judge.
