corner of W. Golder’s application of 60
acres thence a line along the South-eastern
boundary of said application to the North-
east corner of section No. 314 Western
Hutt thence along the South-eastern
boundary of said section to its South-
east corner thence a line to the North-
west corner of section No. 183 thence
along North-western boundaries of sections Nos. 183 184 and 185 to the North-
west corner of section No. 186 thence
along the Northern boundary of said
section to the North-east corner of said
section and thence a line to the North-west
corner of section No. 75 the commencing
point.

And also that the said Act shall come
into operation within such district on the
day of the date hereof.

Defining the Tutinui School
District.

PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor Isaac Earl Feather-
ston Esquire Superintendent of
the Province of Wellington in the
Islands of New Zealand.

WHEREAS by an Act of the Second
Session of the Provincial Council
of Wellington No. 6 intituled “An Act
to promote the establishment of Common
Schools in the Province of Wellington”
it is enacted that for the purposes of the
said Act it should be lawful for the Super-
intendent by Proclamation to divide
the Province into Districts and from time
to time to sub-divide such Districts and
to re-unite any sub-divisions and also by
Proclamation to declare that the said Act
should come into operation within such
District or sub-division at such time as he
might appoint And whereas it is deemed
expedient to proclaim that portion of the
Province within the boundaries herein-
after set forth to be a District for the
purposes of the said Act Now therefore
I Isaac Earl Featherston Superintendent
of the Province of Wellington in virtue
of the power and authority vested in me
in this behalf do hereby proclaim and
declare that such portion of the said Pro-
vince as is comprised within the following
boundaries shall form and constitute a
District for the purposes of the said Act to be called “The Tutinui School
District” which said District shall be bounded
as follows namely:—

By the Northern boundary of Block
No. IX. thence by a line running Easterly
towards the North-west corner of
Block No. XII. till it meets the Cliff line
of road thence Southerly by the Cliff line
of road to the Northern boundary of
Block No. VI. thence Westerly by such
Northern boundary to the Tutinui
Stream thence by the Tutinui Stream
to the South-east corner of Section No. 1
in the Agricultural Reserve thence Westerly by the road dividing Sections Nos.
1 and 53 to the road between Sections
Nos. 32 and 33 thence Northerly by such
road and the same produced to the
Southern boundary of Block No. LXV.
thence Easterly by the boundary of the
said Block to the Tutinui Stream and
thence Northerly by the said Stream to
the starting point.

And also that the said Act shall come
into operation within such District on the
day of the date hereof.
