Ferguson, Andrew Fargie, and Alexander Carnegie, be sequestrated into the hands of Robert Rodger Strang, Esquire, Registrar of the Supreme Court at Wellington, until the hearing of the said Petition, or until the further order of the Court herein. And it is further ordered that a meeting of the Creditors of the said George Washington Ferguson, Andrew Fargie, and Alexander Carnegie, be held at the Grand Jury Room of the Supreme Court, at Wellington, on Monday, the eighteenth day of September instant, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of recommending Trustees to the Court, and the mode of winding up the said estate. And it is further ordered that the said Petition be heard at the Supreme Court House, Wellington, on the 8th day of November next, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon, and that protection of the person and estate of the said George Washington Ferguson, Andrew Fargie, and Alexander Carnegie, be granted until the said eighth day of November next, or until the further order of this Court: Provided always, that such protection shall be of no force or effect should any Creditor of them, the said George Washington Ferguson, Andrew Fargie, and Alexander Carnegie, be in a position to issue a writ of arrest against them the said George Washington Ferguson, Andrew Fargie, and Alexander Carnegie, or either of them, in accordance with the Writ of Arrest Act, to the satisfaction of a Judge, or Registrar of the said Court, in the absence of such Judge: Provided that in such case such protection shall cease only as to such one of the said George Washington Ferguson, Andrew Fargie, and Alexander Carnegie, as such Creditors shall be in a position to issue under the said Act.

UPON reading the Petition of Thomas Frank Stephens, filed in this Court, and the several affidavits and schedules thereunto annexed, and upon hearing Mr. Izaard of counsel for the said Thomas Frank Stephens, it is ordered that the estate of the said Thomas Frank Stephens be sequestrated into the hands of Robert Rodger Strang, Esquire, the Registrar of the Supreme Court at Wellington, until the hearing of the said Petition, or until the further order of the Court herein: And it is further ordered that a meeting of creditors of the said Thomas Frank Stephens be held in the Grand Jury Room of the Supreme Court at Wellington, on Thursday the 28th day of September instant, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of recommending trustees to the Court, and the mode of winding up the said estate.
