ON and after Wednesday, the 4th September, Plans and Specifications may be seen at Mr. Ray’s, Featherston, Wairarapa, and at the Engineer’s Office, Wellington, for the formation of two portions of the Great North Road. One portion near Mr. Abbot’s, Featherston, and the other on the Taratahi Plains, near Mr. Ray’s.

TENDERS are invited for certain Repairs to the Hutt Bridge and Breastwork. Plans and Specifications may be seen at the Engineer’s Office, Wellington, on and after Tuesday next, the 20th inst.
Parties desirous of Tendering will forward their tenders to this office addressed to the Provincial Secretary on Tuesday, September 3rd, marked on the outside “Tender for Repairs to Hutt Bridge.”

HIS HONOR THE DEPUTY SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified that the Scab Inspectors have been instructed to examine the whole of the flocks in their respective districts during the month of September next ensuing, and to report thereon in terms of the following Schedule.
