To comprise all those liable to serve as Militiamen, whose places of abode for the time being are—

Within a line commencing at the seaward end of Charlotte-street, at the Northern end of the Government House reserve; thence along the centre of Charlotte-street to its junction with Sydney and Molesworth-streets; thence Westerly along the centre of Sydney-street to its junction with Glenbervie-terrace; thence along the centre of Glenbervie-terrace to its junction with the Karori-road; thence along the centre of the Karori road to section 29 Karori district; thence Southerly along the division between sections 28 and 29 Karori district to section No. 10, Ohiro district; thence Easterly along the division between the said section and 28 Karori district to the Town Belt; thence South Easterly to the North West end of Te Aro-street (Polhill’s Gully); thence along the centre of Te Aro-street to its junction with Wordsworth-street; thence along the centre of Wordsworth-street to its junction with Willis-street; thence Northerly along the centre of Willis-street to the lane between town acre No. 203 and the reclaimed land; thence along the centre of that lane to the Harbour; thence along the shores of the Harbour at high water mark to the commencement.

No. 3 Company.

To comprise all those liable to serve as Militiamen, whose places of abode for the time being are—

Within a line commencing at the seaward end of the lane between town acre 203 and the reclaimed land; thence along the centre of the said lane to Willis-street; thence along the centre of Willis-street in a Southerly direction to its junction with the centre of Wordsworth-street; thence along the centre of Wordsworth-street to its junction with Te Aro-street (Polhill’s Gully); thence along the centre of Te Aro-street to the Town Belt; thence in a North West direction to the junction of No. 10 section, Ohiro, with No. 28 Karori district; thence in a Westerly direction along the division between No. 10 section aforesaid, and 28 and 29 sections Karori District, to the Kai Warra stream; thence in a South Westerly direction up the course of the said stream to its source; thence South Westerly in a straight line to the mouth of the Karori stream near Cape Terawhiti; thence in an Easterly direction along the sea coast to the seaward end of the road from Wellington to Island Bay; thence in a Northerly direction along the centre of the said road to its junction at the Southern end of the town with Adelaide-road; thence along the centre of Adelaide-road to John-street; thence in a Westerly direction along the centre of the said street to its junction with Crawford-street; thence along the centre of Crawford-street to its junction with Carrington-street; thence along the centre of Carrington-street to its junction with the centre of the said street to its junction with Hankey and Taranaki-streets; thence along the centre of Taranaki-street in a Northerly direction, and a straight line in continuation thereof to the sea; thence along the coast of the harbour at high water mark to the commencement.

Within a line commencing at the seaward end of the continuation of the centre of Taranaki-street; thence in a Southerly direction along the said continuation and the centre of Taranaki-street to its junction with Hankey and Willis-streets; thence Westerly along the centre of Willis-street to its junction with Courtenay-place; thence along the centre of Courtenay-place to Majoribanks-street; thence along the centre of Majoribanks-street to its junction with Crawford-street; thence along the centre of Crawford-street to its junction with the centre of the said street to its junction with John-street; thence along the centre of the said street to its junction with Adelaide-road; thence along the centre of the said road to the southern end of the town; thence along the sea coast to high water mark to the commencement,
