NOTICE is hereby Given, that the Partnership formerly carried on between us as Firewood Dealers at Wellington, under the firm of W. Mitchell, Brothers, & Co., has this first day of August, 1857 been dissolved by mutual consent, and that by the like consent all debts due from or to our late Firm will be paid and received by the Undersigned Eli Allen, and that our said Business will in future be carried on upon the sole credit and account of the Undersigned James Mitchell, Joseph Mitchell, Henry Mitchell, and the said Eli Allen, under the Firm of Mitchells & Allen.

I, WILLIAM FOX, Chief Land Commissioner of Wellington, duly appointed to hear and decide Claims to Land, by persons claiming title thereto, from, through, or under the New Zealand Company, do hereby decide in conformity with the Provisions of the Act of the Provincial Council, Sess. V., No. 2, that the persons whose names are hereunder written, are duly entitled to Government Scrip, the particulars whereof are set opposite their names.
