THE “Dog Nuisance Act,” Session IV., No. 18, will come into operation on the 20th August next.

Owners of Dogs are reminded that after that date all unregistered Dogs may be destroyed.

Copies of the Act may be obtained on application at this office.

The following persons have been appointed Registrars under the Act, from whom Collars may be obtained on registration:

City of Wellington, Hutt, and Country Districts.
Mr. Marriott, Lambton Quay

Wairarapa.
Mr. R. Wakelin, Grey Town

Ahuriri.
Mr. Edward F. Harris, Napier

Wanganui and Rangitikei.
Mr. J. T. Tylee, Wanganui

At Clive—The Store of T. H. Fitzgerald, Esq.
At Petane—the residence of John Macarthy, Esq.,
At Te Kopanga—the residence of E. S. Curling, Esq., J. P.
At Rua Taniwha—the residence of G. Worgan, Esq.

For the Wanganui and Rangitikei District.
At Rangitikei—the residence of A. Keir, Esq.

IN the Commission appointing Justices of the Peace for the Province of Wellington, reprinted in the Wellington Government Gazette, of the 6th of March last from the General Government Gazette of 24th December, 1856, the Christian name of Mr. Newman is inserted as “Alfred George,” instead of “Alfred” only.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Henry Thomas Spatt, Esquire, of Wellington, has duly qualified as a Medical Practitioner under the Act of the Provincial Council, passed on the 14th day of January, 1854, intituled “An Act to establish a Medical Board and to declare who shall be deemed a qualified Medical Practitioner within the Province.”
