I, STEPHEN CARKEEK, do solemnly and sincerely declare that the foregoing is a
true and faithful statement of my Account as Collector of Customs for the period
herein mentioned, and that the sum of £2770 2s. 3d. Sterling paid by me as above
stated is the whole amount so received by me from the first to the thirty-first day of
May, 1857, both days inclusive, and I do make this solemn declaration, conscienti-
ously believing the same to be true.
