WAIOPAI BRIDGE, AND EXTENDING A DISTANCE OF 189.80 CHAINS,
AS FAR AS THE CORDUROY ROAD WHICH IS NOW BEING CON-
STRUCTED THROUGH THE WAIAUWI BUSH.
Note.βIt would under any circumstances be necessary to raise the present road,
and this may be done by widening and deepening the drains. It would also be advisable
to pitch and metal this road, as the material can be brought down from the Mokomoko
to the side of road by cutting outlet drains wider and deeper.
