PROCLAMATION.
By JAMES A. R. MENZIES, Esq., Superintendent of the Province of Southland.
IN pursuance of the power in me vested in that behalf by the “Education Ordinance, 1862,” I hereby proclaim and declare that the district named and described in the Schedule hereinafter written, shall be an Educational district under the said Ordinance, and I do hereby further declare that the provisions of the said Ordinance shall come into operation in the said district from and after the 4th day of April, 1863.
Given under my hand this thirty-first day of March, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-three.

SCHEDULE.
WAIANIWAI SCHOOL DISTRICT—
Bounded on the EAST by the Oreti River, on the SOUTH by a right line drawn from the junction of the Makarewa with the Oreti to the South corner of section 15, Block VI., New River Hundred, thence by a right line to south corner of section 47, Block XI. of said Hundred, extended to the Waimatuku.
On the WEST by the Waimatuku River.
On the NORTH by a right line drawn from the Waimatuku River, through Trig. Station I. to Trig. Station 8, thence by a right line to south point of section 20, Block VII. of the said Hundred; thence by a right line due east to the Oreti River.

Appointing Limits for Port of Invercargill.
By His Excellency Sir George Grey, Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same, &c., &c.
IN exercise of the power in me for this purpose vested by the “Customs Regulation Act, 1858,” I, Sir George Grey, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint that, on and from the day of the date hereof, the limits of the Port of Invercargill shall be as follows:—
All the waters of the Oreti and Waiopai Estuaries known as the New River Harbour, comprised to the Southward and Eastward of a line drawn from Omawi, or Steep Head, in a North-easterly direction to Bushy Point, thence North (true bearing) to a point intersecting a line drawn West (true) from the North-west corner of the boundary of the town of Invercargill, together with the site of the town of Invercargill, as delineated in the official plans of the same and the Mokomoko inlet.
Given under my hand at Government House, Auckland, this Twenty-sixth day of February, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-three.

Appointing Limits for Bluff Harbour.
By His Excellency Sir George Grey, Knight, Commander of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same, &c., &c.
IN exercise of the power in me for this purpose vested by the “Customs Regulation Act, 1858,” I, Sir George Grey, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint that, on and from the day of the date hereof, the limits of the Port of Bluff Harbour shall be as follows:—
All the waters of Bluff Harbour comprised to the Northward and Westward of a line drawn from Starling Point to Te. Waewae Point, and thence continued to the East end of Joey’s Island; together with the site of the town of Campbelltown, as delineated in the official plans of the same.
Given under my hand, at Government House, Auckland, this Twenty-sixth day of February, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-three.

IN exercise of the power in me for this purpose vested by the Customs Regulation Act, 1858,” I, Sir George Grey, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint that, on from the day of the date hereof, the Jetty, and the Beach one hundred yards immediately to the South thereof, and the North bank of the Puni Creek, between the Provincial Government
