NOTICE is hereby given that the following application for licence to occupy land under deferred payment has been received at this office —

Objections (if any) must be lodged, in writing, on or before Monday, the 13th day of November, 1876, at the Land Office, Dunedin.

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TUAPEKA TO TEVIOT.

Fresh TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Wednesday, 8th November, for Contract No. 1089, construction, part pitching and gravelling 56.44 chains of road in Block III., Tuapeka West District.

Plans and Specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the Office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at the Police Camp, Lawrence.

Tenders to be endorsed, “Tender for Contract No. 1089.”

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

OUTRAM AND WAIKORI ROAD DISTRICTS.

TENDERS are invited for the erection of a Timper Bridge between the Henley and Maungatua.

Subdivisions of the above districts.

Plan and specifications to be seen at the house of Mr. Robert Petrie, Lake Waipori.

Tenders to be addressed to the Chairman of the Outram Road Board, Outram, not later than Noon of Saturday, 11th November.

Successful tenderer will be required to lodge deposit for due fulfilment of contract.

Lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

NORTH-EAST VALLEY ROAD DISTRICT.

TENDERS are invited as under:

No. 1. To form about 8 chains, 16 feet wide, and 12 chains, 9 feet wide, and one culvert at Rothesay.

No. 2. To form about 5 chains of road, North-East Valley, and break and spread about 50 yards of rotten rock and culvert, also 15 yards good blue stone, 2 1/2-inch metal, and 6 loads of screenings for Fergushie.

STOLEN or strayed from Kilmog Hotel, on the Northern road, about four months ago, one bay pony, roaned face, branded J near shoulder. Whoever returns the same to Peter McGregor, Cedar Creek, Blueskin, will get the above reward. If found in any person’s possession after this notice legal proceedings will immediately be taken against the party.

NOTICE.

ALL CATTLE found straying on the School Grounds, Waikari, will be impounded without further notice.
