NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that an application under the 47th &c., sections of the "Otago Waste Land Act, 1872," and Amendments, for Sections 19, 20, 22, and 24, Block IV., Teviot, has been received from Gideon Anderson Smith, and that Tuesday, the 14th day of November next, at the Court-house, Roxburgh, is the day and place appointed for deciding such application (if opposed) and notifying objections (if any) which may have been lodged.

LAND ON DEFERRED PAYMENTS
Notice is hereby given that the following applications for licenses to occupy land on deferred payments have been received at this office:
George Brook, for section 55 (being part of 50) of block II., Tuapeka West.
William Ranger and James Kerse, for section 15 of block VIII., Crookston.
And Tuesday, the 21st day of November, 1876, at 11 o'clock a.m., and the Land Office, Lawrence, are appointed the time and place for deciding these applications, if unopposed, and for notifying any objections that may be lodged.
Two o'clock p.m. of the same day, and the same place, are appointed for deciding by auction the right to the license to occupy any section for which there is more than one applicant.

GOVERNMENT LAND SALE
TAPANUI AND KELSO TOWNSHIPS
At the Town Hall, Tapanui, on Tuesday, the 7th of November, 1876.
The following sections in the Township of Tapanui will be offered for sale by public auction by Mr. R. B. Martin, at the Town Hall, Tapanui, on Tuesday, the 7th day of November next, immediately after the sale of Block IX, Glenkenich, advertised for that date, front quarter-acre sections to be sold at an upset price of £8, and back sections at £5 each. Except section 2, Block XXII, which will be offered at the upset price of £2. Sections over the quarter-acre will be sold at rates to be stated by the Auctioneer:
Sections 1 to 16, Block XVII; 1 to 5, XVIII; 1 to 16, XIX; 1, 2, XX; 1, 2, XXI; 1, 2, 3, XXII.
Valuations in addition to price of sections:
- Sections 12, Block XVII, saw-mill, house, &c., £950
- Section 2, Block XXII, dam, &c., £150
- Sections 2 and 3, Block XIX, house and fencing, £185

NOTICE
LEASE of Crown Lands, situated between Block XXIV, Waihola District, and the sea beach (Taieri mouth), having been applied for to the Waste Lands Board by C. Hilgendorf: Notice is hereby given that a lease of a portion of the lands referred to will be granted to the applicant on the 8th day of November next unless valid objections are lodged at the Crown Land Office, Dunedin, before that date.
