NOTICE is hereby given that the following sections in the above district will be offered for sale by public auction by Mr R. B. Martin, at the Court House, Mataura Bridge, on Tuesday, the 7th November next, at noon, as land of special value under Clause 85 "Otago Waste Lands Act, 1872," at the upset price opposite each section:—

The following conditions will apply to the license:—That the Licensee shall sell the coal at four shillings and sixpence per ton, seven shillings and sixpence for two horse loads, and nine shillings for three horse loads.

NOTICE

CROWN GRANTS for the land, and in favour of the persons after-mentioned, are now ready for delivery, and attention is directed to the following clause of the “Crown Grants Act, 1866”:—

Clause XXXIX.—There shall be paid upon all Grants to be hereafter issued, which may be left in the charge or custody of any Commissioner of Crown Lands, or other officer charged with the delivery of the same, a fee of sixpence for every month during which they shall have been so left after the expiration of three months from the date of the notice in the Gazette of the Province wherein the lands are situate that such grants are ready for delivery:

  • Dutch, J. and G.—Section 26, Block VII., North Harbour and Blueskin District.
  • Fraser, Catherine.—Section 7, Block IV., Otago Peninsula District.
  • Cameron, Alexander.—Sections 106 and 107, Block II., Papakaio District.
  • Winchester, W. T.—Sections 41 and 42, Block VI., North Harbour and Blueskin District.
  • Duff, John.—Section 28, North East Valley District.
  • Duff, John.—Section 30, North East Valley District.
  • Fraser, Neil.—Section 22, Block III., Waikouaiti District.
  • Blyth, Samuel.—Section 70, Block V., Lower Kaikorai District.

LEASE OF COAL MINE.

AUCTION, WEDNESDAY, 1st NOVEMBER, 1876.

NOTICE is hereby given that the seven years’ lease of five acres, being part of Section 17, Block 6, Chatton District, will be offered for sale by public auction by Mr R. B. Martin, for Coal Mining purposes, at Barr’s Hall, Balclutha, on Wednesday, the first day of November, 1876, at the upset price of £5 per annum.
