All that area in the Province of Otago containing by admeasurement 5,270 acres more or less, situate in the Oreti District, bounded as follows:--Commencing at the north-east corner of section 44, Oreti District, thence by a line due east by sections 61, 51, 62, and a road line eighteen thousand eight hundred and seventy (18,870) links; thence in a line due north by section 62 and a road line eight thousand six hundred and sixty-one (8,661) links; thence in a south-easterly direction by Deferred Payment Block twenty-one thousand two hundred and twenty-three (21,223) links; thence in a north-easterly direction by said Deferred Payment Block eight thousand (8,000) links; thence in a south-easterly direction by sections 60 and 40 eight thousand five hundred and seventy-seven (8,577) links to the Oreti River; thence by the Oreti River to the northern boundary of section 26; thence by a line due west along the northern boundary of said section 26 four thousand three hundred (4,300) links; thence in a southerly direction by sections 26, 1, 3, 54, and a road line eight thousand five hundred and thirty-five (8,535) links; thence in a north-westerly direction by sections 54 and 56 eighteen thousand one hundred (18,100) links; thence in a south-westerly direction by said section 56 three thousand (3,000) links; thence in a south-easterly direction by said sections 56 and 54 fifteen thousand nine hundred (15,900) links; thence in a westerly direction by a road line six thousand eight hundred (6,800) links; thence in a line due north by section 27 two thousand seven hundred and fifty-four (2,754) links; thence in a westerly direction by said section 27 and section 12 four thousand six hundred and seventy-five (4,675) links; thence in a southerly direction by said section 12 one thousand seven hundred and sixty-seven (1,767) links; thence in a south-westerly direction by a road line four thousand four hundred (4,400) links; thence in a line due south by section 51 one thousand six hundred and eighty-eight (1,688) links; thence in a line due west by section 14 and a road line three thousand nine hundred and seventy (3,970) links; thence in a southerly direction by said section 14 and a road line nine thousand five hundred and eleven (9,511) links; thence in a westerly direction by a road line three thousand seven hundred (3,700) links; thence in a line due north by sections 98, 93, 92, 88, 87, and a road line twenty-four thousand six hundred and thirty (24,630) links; thence in a line due east by sections 82, 83, 84, 99, 85, and a road line fourteen thousand three hundred and thirty-nine (14,339) links; thence in a line due north by said section 85 six thousand five hundred (6,500) links; thence in a line due west by said sections 85, 99, 84, 83, 82, and sections 81 and 80, and a road line twenty thousand (20,000) links; thence in a line due north by sections 43, 44, and a road line five thousand one hundred (5,100) links to the starting point, has been withdrawn, and the lands described will be open for application on and after the 10th May, 1876.

NOTICE is hereby given that Section 15, Block V., Clarendon District will be offered for sale by public auction by Mr. R. B. Martin, on Saturday, 27th May, 1876, at the Court House, Milton, immediately after the sale of the Townships, at the upset price of £1 per acre, with valuation for improvements to the extent of £295 to be paid at auction.
