WANTED on the 1st April, a thoroughly competent Schoolmistress for the Industrial School. Salary £75 per annum, with Board and Residence. Applications, with testimonials, to be lodged before 18th March.

TEACHER WANTED for the Side School, at St. Bathans. Salary: Government allowance of £75, and School Fees amounting in all to between £130 and £140 per annum. There is also a good dwelling house. Applications to be lodged with the undersigned, before the 18th March.

TEVIOT, MOUNT BENGER.
RUNNING in our Paddock since the Twenty-fifth day of December, 1875, One Bay Mare, no brands, six years old, two white hind feet, about fifteen hands high, no other marks, light saddle hack, shod all round. Owner can have her, by paying expenses, by applying to

for trespassing on which driving expenses and damages of £1 6s. 2d. each are claimed, and in default of being released the above cattle will be sold at noon on the 1st day of April, 1876, at the Edendale Pound.

STRAYED, from Forbury, about the 20th of November, a Dark Bay HORSE; branded like hind fetlock white. Any person returning the same to Martin and Watson, Stuart-street, will receive the above reward.

POUNDKEEPERS who have not made their quarterly returns to the Provincial Treasurer are reminded that the Impounding Ordinance contains a penalty of £20 for such neglect.
