NORTH TAIERI ROAD BOARD.
NOTICE is hereby given that the above Board intend to form a road line on part of Section 24, Irregular Block, Taieri, being Church Reserve; said road to be one hundred (100) links wide, and under the authority and powers vested in the Board, as per “Highway Boards Empowering Act,” together with the “Lands Consolidation Act.”
The plan of the above road can be seen by any person interested for 40 days from this date at the Schoolhouse, Mosgiel, between the hours of 10 a.m. till 4 p.m., and any persons affected by the above are required to state their objections, in writing, and forward to the Board within 40 days from this date; and the Board will meet to hear and decide upon objections (if any) on Monday, the 10th day of April, 1876, at 1 o’clock p.m.

NORTH-EAST VALLEY ROAD DISTRICT
No. 12. TENDERS are invited for Forming a Footpath, 9 feet wide, at Rothesay, and Supplying about 40 yards Road Metal near Ravensbourne. Both jobs will be shown on Wednesday, the 5th April, at 10 a.m., Ravensbourne.
No. 13. Tenders are also invited for Breaking and Spreading only, 250 yards 3in. Road Metal on Sections 13 and 16, Block X, Pine Hill, at per cubic yard.
No. 14. Tenders are also invited for about 40 Chains of Fencing, 2 Rails and 2 Wires, at per chain, and Cutting about 30 Chains of Ditching on Section 19, North East Valley.
No. 15. Tenders are also invited to Form a Road to Opoho.
Plans and specifications for contracts Nos. 14 and 15 at Cattle Market Hotel, North East Valley. Tenders to be accompanied by 5 per cent. on amount of tender, and left at North East Valley School-house on or before the 8th April, at 2 p.m. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

TENDERS WANTED by the Portobello Road Board for the following work in the Broad Bay Sub-division:—
1st. Building Culvert on road leading from Beach to Portobello Main Road, at the Blacksmith’s
2nd. For Culvert, Cutting, and Embankment on Road between the properties of Messrs. Anderson and Henderson.
3rd. Building Culvert on Mr. Clearwater’s road.
Mr. William Anderson will show contractors specifications and works on Wednesday, the 29th instant, at 1 o’clock.
Tenders will be received until Saturday, the 1st of April, at 12 o’clock.
A deposit of 10 per cent. on the amount of tender will be required from the contractor whose tender is accepted.
The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
