TAKE NOTICE that I desire that the boundary or separating fence between Section 32 and Section 33, Block XIX., Invercargill Hundred, be made immediately; and that such fence shall be a fence of posts and four rails, the posts to be not less than five feet high from the surface of the ground, and not more than nine feet apart, inserted not less than two feet into the ground, the upper rail to be not less than four feet six inches from the ground.

LAND FOR SETTLEMENT.

MR. ROBERT SHORT, Land office, Dunedin, has been appointed to supply information as to settlement on the land, whether by immediate purchase, deferred payments, or under agricultural leases.

Mr. Short will show maps of the land and assist purchasers or selectors in making the necessary applications.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 28th March, 1876, for Contract No. 1103, Construction of Suspension Foot Bridge over Manuherikia River, on Road St. Bathans to Blackstone Hill.

Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at the Police Station, Naseby.

Tenders to be endorsed “Tender for Contract No. 1103.”

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TEVIOT TO ALEXANDRA.

FRESH TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 28th March, for Contract No. 1101, Forming and Gravelling 13 Chains of Road on Teviot Flat.

Plans and Specifications may be seen, and forms of Tender obtained, at the Office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at the Police Stations, Roxburgh and Alexandra.

Tenders to be endorsed “Tender for Contract No. 1101.”

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

MOUNT IDA WATER WORKS.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 8th March, for Contract No. 14, Construction of 95 Chains of Sludge Channel.

Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at the Police Camp, Naseby.

Tenders to be endorsed “Tender for Contract No. 14.”

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

WAIPORI ROAD DISTRICT.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following By-laws were passed by the Waipori Road Board, on the 8th day of January, 1876, viz.:—

“It shall be lawful for the Waipori Road Board to appoint a person to impound all cattle found trespassing on any roads within the Waipori Road district. Such cattle shall be received into and kept in the public pound until released or sold under the Otago Impounding Ordinance 1872.”

Notice is hereby further given that the Waipori Road Board has appointed Mr. Peter Prosser, Berwick, Lake Waipori, to be Ranger for the said Board.
