DESCRIPTION OF BLOCK.
All that block of land situate in the said town of Invercargill, comprising sections numbers two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, and ten of block number one, on the map of the said town, bounded on the north by section number one of said block; on the east by sections numbered twenty-one, twenty, nineteen, eighteen, seventeen, sixteen, fifteen, fourteen, and thirteen of said block; on the south by section number eleven of said block; and on the west by Leven street.

IT is hereby notified, that the principal moneys secured by the Debentures issued under the Ordinance above cited, and falling due on the 1st October next, will be paid on presentation of the Bonds on or after that date at the Bank of New Zealand, London; or at the Provincial Treasury, Dunedin; whichsoever was the place at which the payment of interest on the respective Bonds was paid, viz.,—

Limits of Ports in Stewart\'s Island defined.
NORMANBY, Governor.
IN pursuance of the power and authority in me vested by the 7th section of the "Marine Act, 1867," I, George Augustus Constantine, Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of New Zealand, do hereby, for the purposes of the said Act, define the limits of the Ports of Half-Moon Bay, Paterson\'s Inlet, Port Adventure, and Port William, all in Stewart\'s Island, in the Province of Otago to be respectively defined as follow:—
Port of Half-Moon Bay.
All navigable waters within Half-Moon Bay, and a radius seaward of one-half the distance between Aker\'s Point and the northern point of the Bay, taken from a point midway between the extremity of the said points.
Port of Paterson\'s Inlet.
All navigable waters within Paterson\'s Inlet, and a radius seaward of one-half the distance between the northern portion of Aglem Point and Aker\'s Point, taken from a point midway between the extremities of the said points.
Port of Adventure.
All navigable waters within Port Adventure, and a radius of three nautical miles seaward from the centre of Entrance Island.
Port of Port William.
All navigable waters within Port William, and a radius of one nautical mile and three-quarters seaward, taken from a point midway between the extremities of East Head and West Head.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the most Honorable George Augustus Constantine, Marquis of Normanby, Earl of Mulgrave, Viscount Normanby, and Baron Mulgrave of Mulgrave, all in the county of York, in the peerage of the United Kingdom, and Baron Mulgrave of New Ross, in the County of Wexford, in the Peerage of Ireland; a member of Her Majesty\'s Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and St. George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty\'s Colony of New Zealand and its dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same, at the Government House, at Wellington, this first day of September, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.

Copper Coinage decried.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the copper coinage of the United Kingdom in circulation therein has been decried the thirty-first day of December, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine: And whereas, it had been considered expedient that the copper coinage in circulation in those colonies using the Imperial coinage should be decried in each such colony, instructions have been given to me by the Right Honorable the Earl of Carnarvon, Her Majesty\'s Secretary of State for the Colonies, to issue a Proclamation decrying the copper coinage in circulation in the Colony of New Zealand as and in manner hereafter set forth:—
Now therefore, I, George Augustus Constantine, Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in compliance with the instructions given to me as aforesaid, and in pursuance and exercise of every power and authority enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the thirty-first day of January, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six, the copper coin of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland then in circulation within the Colony of New Zealand shall be the same and is hereby called in and decried, and, from and after the date so fixed as last aforesaid, shall be and is hereby declared to be no longer current within the said Colony.
