CLUTHA DISTRICT ROAD BOARD.
NOTICE is hereby Given, that a General Rate of 1s
in the £, and a Special Rate of 3d. in the £, on
rateable property throughout the Eastern and Western
Subdivisions of the District, were made by the Board on
18th September, 1875, in pursuance of previous notice.
The Collector will make a personal application for pay-
ment, on or about 20th October next, on those ratepayers
whose rates are then outstanding; after which legal pro-
ceedings will be taken against defaulters without further
notice.

NOTICE.
FRESH TENDERS wanted by the Portobello Road
Board for Bridge, and five chains, more or less, of
formation on Beach road, Hooper's Inlet. Specifications
and work will be shown to contractors on application to
Mr William Dickson, at the Sawmills, Hooper's Inlet.
Tenders to be in not later than Saturday, the 2nd day
of October proximo, at 12 o'clock.

TENDERS Wanted by the Outram Road Board, for
formation of portion of road between Outram and

Mr. James Allan's property.

FRESH TENDER FOR DISTRICT GAOLS.
TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secre-
tary for Lands and Works, Dunedin, until noon of
Tuesday, 5th October, 1875, for the erection of Gaols
(in stone or brick) at Naseby, Clyde, and Arrowtown.
Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of
tender obtained, at the office of the Inspector of Build-
ings, Dunedin, and Police Camps, Naseby, Clyde, and
Arrowtown, on and after the 28th inst.
Tenders to be indorsed, "Tender for Gaol at Clyde,"
"Naseby," or "Arrowtown," as the case may be.
The Government does not undertake to accept the
lowest or any tender.
TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secre-
tary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 19th Oct-
tober, for
Contract No. 1060—Construction of two floating stages
for Kaitangata part.
Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of ten-
der obtained at the Office of the Provincial Engineer,
Dunedin, and at the Police Camp, Balclutha.
Tenders to be indorsed "Tender for Contract No.
1060."
The Government does not undertake to accept the
lowest or any tender.
NOTICE.
To Alexander Fraser, of Gray's Flat, Tuapeka, occupier
and owner of Section 57, block V, Tuapeka, and
TAKE NOTICE, that I desire that the boundary or
separating fence between sections 57 and 61, of the
said block be made immediately; and that such fence
shall be sod wall, bank, or dyke, two feet six inches high,
with a base of three feet, and ditches on each side two
feet nine inches wide by two feet deep, iron stands six
feet long sunk two feet in the ground, and placed twelve
feet apart, having three wires.

peka East, and sections 9 and 33 of the said block, be
made immediately; and that such fence shall be sod
wall, bank, or dyke, two feet six inches high, with a base
of three feet, and ditches on each side two feet nine
inches wide by two feet deep, posts 6ft long sunk two
feet in the ground, and placed 23rd day of
three wires.

fence.

tion was passed at a meeting of the Municipal
Council of the Town of Invercargill, held on the second
day of September, one thousand eight hundred and
seventy-five.
RESOLUTION.
Resolved, that the block of land within the town of
Invercargill, described at the foot hereof shall be added
to the Schedule A of Regulation number six, made under
part five of the thirteenth schedule of the "Municipal
Corporations Act, 1867," and commonly known as the
Building Regulations, and that such Regulation shall
