NOTICE is hereby given that a general district rate of one shilling in the £ was made on the 18th instant for the year ending 30th June, 1876.

Ratepayers having any objection to the above assessment, are informed that the Board will meet within the School-house, Brighton, on Monday, 18th October next, for the purpose of hearing and disposing of appeals against valuation made for the year ending 30th June, 1876.
