Leases to commence on the 1st day of January, 1876 and expire on the 5th day of September, 1882, or to terminate on 12 months\' notice from the Commissioner of Crown Lands to the lessee to that effect, without liability on the part of the Government or Waste Land Board for compensation for improvements. No previous Lessee on compensation for improvements. No previous Lessee on the lease right to purchase land on Run. Improvements enhancing the value of the Run, made by lessee, to be paid by the incoming tenant, before obtaining possession. NOTICE is hereby given that the lease for ten years of Run No. 462, containing 1000 acres, open land, and 2000 acres of scrub and bog—will be offered for sale by public auction at the Survey Office, Invercargill, on the 1st day of October next, at noon, in terms of the \"Otago Waste Lands Act, 1872.\" Rental to be an assessment of 3s 6d for every head of great cattle, or 7d for every head of small cattle, but the minimum stock on which assessment is chargeable shall not be less than 200 sheep. The lease to commence on the 1st day of October, 1875. The deposit of one-tenth of the purchase money shall be payable at the fall of the hammer, the balance within a month from date of sale.
