TAKE NOTICE, that I desire that the boundary or separating fence between sections 5, 6, 8, 9, and sections 2, 3, 4, block X., Waikaka District, be made on or before the 1st day of September next, said fence to consist of stakes with four wires, three sod bank, and double ditch.

CORPORATION OF INVERCARGILL.
In the matter of the Invercargill Gas Loan Act, 1874.
NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the Town Council of Invercargill will be held in the Council Hall, Kelvin-street, Invercargill, on Thursday, the 24th day of June next, at the hour of 7 o'clock in the evening for the purpose of considering a proposal to borrow and take up at interest a certain sum of money, pursuant to the authority, and under the provisions of the above-named Act, and the amount of such proposed loan, the rate of interest to be paid in respect of such loan, the purposes to which it is intended to be applied, the manner, times, and places at which the principal and interest due upon the several debentures shall be payable, and the amount of the separate rate which it is proposed shall be made for securing the loan are set forth and expressed in the proposed resolution hereinafter contained. And notice is hereby further given that at such meeting of the Town Council, the following resolution for borrowing money as aforesaid will be submitted to and considered by the Council, that is to say—Resolved that this Council do forthwith, or as soon as practicable, under the provisions of the "Invercargill Gas Loan, Act, 1874," and such of the provisions of the "Municipal Corporations Act, 1867," and the "Municipal Corporations Act, 1867, Amendment Act, 1872," as are incorporated with the first named Act, borrow and take up at interest on the credit of a special rate to be made under the said Acts the sum of eight thousand pounds, and that the rate of interest which shall be paid in respect of the said loan shall be six pounds per centum per annum, and that the proceeds of the said loan shall be applied to the purposes of defraying the costs, charges, and expenses of purchasing plant and machinery for gas works, and for defraying the costs, charges, and expenses of procuring a site for and erecting thereon the said gas works and plant, and for
defraying all other costs, charges, and expenses in or about or incidental to the erection and completion of the said gas works and plant, and laying and fixing the pipes and all other necessary appliances in the town of Invercargill. And that the said loan shall be borrowed upon debentures for sums of fifty pounds each, and that the principal due upon such debentures shall be payable in Invercargill aforesaid, or Sydney, or Melbourne, or London, at the option of the holder thereof, and shall be payable at the expiration of fifteen years from the issue thereof, and that one-third thereof shall be redeemable at the end of five years, one third thereof at the end of ten years, and the residue thereof at the expiration of the said fifteen years, and the interest due upon the said debentures shall be payable half-yearly, on the 1st days of January and July, in every year, at Invercargill aforesaid, or Sydney, or Melbourne, or London, at the option of the holder thereof, and that interest coupons be annexed to the said debentures. And that the said loan shall be secured upon a special rate to be made under the provisions of the said acts, of sixpence in the pound of the assessment of the rateable property subject to the special rate.

NOTICE is hereby Given, that by virtue of a writ fieri facias, to me directed and delivered, issued out of this Honorable Court in this cause on the twentieth day of January last, and in pursuance of "The Executions of Judgments, against Real Estate Act, 1867,": all the estate and interest of the above named George Reeves, the execution debtor, in all that parcel of land. situate in the Tokomairiro District in the Province of Otago, containing by admeasurement one rood (more or less), being section numbered thirty-six (36), block (III.) on the subdivision map of that portion of the private township of Milton, signed by one Peter M'Gill, and deposited by him with the Registrar of Deeds for the Province of Otago aforesaid, bounded towards the north-east by the Tokomairiro, and part of the same block, two hundred and twenty-five links; towards the south-east by Albert-street, one hundred and twelve links, towards the south-west by section numbered thirty-seven of the same block, two hundred and twenty-five links; and towards the north-west by section numbered twenty-nine of the same block, one hundred and twelve links; being part and parcel of rural section numbered one hundred and thirty-four, block seventeen, on the Record Map of the Tokomairiro District of the Province aforesaid, the memorial of judgment of which is registered in the office of the Registrar of Deeds in Dunedin in the Province aforesaid, has at the suit of the above named Charles Flexman, the execution debtor, been levied upon and taken in execution, and will be sold by auction at the Sheriff's Bailiff's Office, Supreme Court House in Dunedin, on Saturday, the 3rd day of July next, at twelve o'clock at noon, unless the said execution shall be previously satisfied.
