To the District land Officer, Clyde,
I HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct a
Water Race for irrigation and agricultural purposes,
commencing at a point in the first creek to the north-east-
ward of Galloway Head Station, at a point about a mile
above the present main Mountain road from Dunstan to
Dunedin, and terminating at Galloway Head Station.
The length of such Race is one mile and a quarter, or
thereabouts and its intended course is westerly.
The mean depth and breadth of such Race is fifteen
inches by eighteen inches, and it is capable of carrying
two sluice heads of water.

above-name applicant, must lodge his objection, in writing,

clean and keep in order, until 1st July, 1876 :—

Buildings.
The Government will not be bound to accept any
tender.
POTATOES for Lunatic Asylum and Hospital.
Tenders for supply until 31st December next will
be received at the Government Office, Dunedin, until
noon of Friday, 25th June, 1874. Government not bound
to accept any tender.
PRESBYTERIAN Fast Day, Thursday, 17th June,
1875, on which day the Provincial Government
Offices in Dunedin will not be opened.
