places in which it shall be lawful to break in any horse or other animal.

No. 6.—A regulation made under the authority of Section one, Subdivision one, Part five of the thirteenth Schedule of the said Act, for prohibiting or restraining the use of combustible materials in the construction, alteration, repair, or removal of buildings, or chimneys, flues, smoke-vents or stove pipes; for regulating the distance from any other building at which it shall be lawful to construct any building; for regulating the height, thickness, construction, or materials of the party walls of buildings adjoining each other, and of the external walls of buildings and of chimneys, and the materials for and mode of enclosing the same, &c.

No. 7.—A regulation made under the authority of Section four, Subdivision one, Part seventh of the said Act, for appointing the times and hours during or at which respectively any registered building or ground shall be used for the purpose for which it is registered or shall be closed.

No. 8.—A regulation made under the authority of Section three, Subdivision two, Part seven, of the thirteenth Schedule of the said Act, for prescribing the distance from any adjoining land or from any building within which it shall not be lawful to keep or any keep any stack of hay, corn, straw, or other produce, if not placed under roof or cover, and for prohibiting or restraining the use of such covering of certain inflammable materials.

No. 9.—A regulation made under the authority of Section one, subdivision one, Part eight, of the thirteenth Schedule of the said Act, for appointing limits within which it shall not be lawful to keep any swine.

No. 10.—A regulation made under the authority of Section two, Subdivision one, Part eight, of the thirteenth Schedule of the said Act, for appointing hours for the removal of nightsoil, offal, or other offensive refuse or matter, and a place for the deposit of the same.

No. 11.—A regulation made under the authority of Section forty-eight, Subdivision one, Part ten, of the thirteenth Schedule of the said Act, for appointing the several sums to be paid for licenses for hackney carriages and the rates of fares to be paid for every such carriage; for regulating the conduct of the owners and drivers thereof plying within the town of Invercargill in their several employments; the standings of hackney carriages and the mode in which such carriages are to stand therein, &c., &c.

No. 12.—A regulation made under the authority of Section seventy-three, Subdivision two, Part ten, of the thirteenth Schedule of the said Act, for appointing the several sums to be paid for licenses for carts; for appointing the rates and charges, as well for time, distance, or weight, or all or any of these, to be paid for the hire of any licensed cart, &c.

No. 13.—A regulation made under the authority of Section seventy-three, Subdivision two, Part ten, of the thirteenth Schedule of the said Act, for appointing the several sums to be paid for licenses by hawkers or pedlars, &c., &c.

No. 14.—A regulation made under the authority of Section ninety-five, Subdivision five, Part ten, of the thirteenth Schedule of the said Act, for appointing the sum to be paid for a porter's license.

NOTICE is hereby given that the NOMINATION of Candidates for election to the office of Councillor for Bell Ward, in the Councillor Albert Beck, resigned, will be declared on THURSDAY, 27th May, instant, at the Terrace of the Provincial Council Chambers, Water-street, at the hour of noon.

NOTICE is hereby given that the business heretofore carried on by Matthew Instone, David Murchie, and John Concher, at Riverton, in Otago, as saw millers and timber merchants, under the firm of "Concher and Company," was dissolved on or about the 26th day of September last, by mutual consent, so far as regards the said John Concher who assigned his interest to Caleb Small, and that the said business in future will be carried on by the said Matthew Instone, David Murchie, and Caleb Small, under the firm of "Small and Company," who are authorised to receive all debts owing to the late firm, and who will pay all the liabilities of the late firm of Concher and Company.

NOTICE is hereby Given, that by virtue of a writ fieri facias, to me directed and delivered, issued out of this Honourable Court in this cause on the twentieth day of January last, and in pursuance of "The Executions of Judgments, against Real Estate Act, 1867," all the estate and interest of the above named George Reeves, the execution debtor, in all that parcel of land. situate in the Tokomairiro District in the Province of Otago, containing by admeasurement one rood (more or less), being section numbered thirty-six (36), block (III.) on the subdivision map of that portion of the private township of Milton, signed by one Peter M'Gill, and deposited by him with the Registrar of Deeds for the Province of Otago aforesaid, bounded towards the north-east by section numbered thirty-seven of the same block, two hundred and twenty-five links; towards the south-east by Albert-street, one hundred and twelve links. towards the south-west by section numbered thirty-seven of the same block, two hundred and twenty-five links; and towards the north-west by section numbered twenty-nine of the same block, one hundred and twelve links; being part and parcel of rural section numbered one hundred and thirty-four, block seventeen, on the Record Map of the Tokomairiro District of the Province aforesaid, the memorial of judgment which is registered in the office of the Registrar of Deeds in Dunedin in the Province aforesaid, has at the suit of the above named Charles Flexman, the execution creditor, been levied upon and taken in execution, and will be sold by auction at the Sheriff's Bailiff's Office, Supreme Court House in Dunedin, on Saturday, the 3rd day of July next, at twelve o'clock at noon, unless the said execution shall be previously satisfied.
