SCHEDULE.

Christian Haussen on behalf of the Old Spin Quartz Mining Company, for 16 acres of land, more or less, as the same may be found after survey to be within the pegs and trenches of the applicants situated at Bendigo Gully, a mile above Rise and Shine Co.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

IN conformity to the 29th section of the "Gold Fields Act 1866," and to the Regulations made under that Act and the Gold Fields Acts Amendment Acts of 1867, 1868, and 1869, for the granting of leases for gold mining purposes within the Province of Otago, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a lease for gold mining purposes of Crown Lands to the applicant specified in the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objections against granting such lease.

Objections to the granting of such lease, stating the grounds of objection, must be made in writing and lodged with the Warden at Cromwell, on or before the 7th day of May 1875.

Copy of the application made, and plans annexed may be seen at the Warden's Office at Cromwell.

Given under my hand at Dunedin, this 26th day of April, one thousand eight hundred and seventy five.

John S. Swan on behalf of the Great Extended Quartz Mining Company, for 16 acres of land, more or less, as the same may be found after survey to be within the pegs and trenches of the applicants, adjoining Daniel and Co's. prospecting claim, Upper Bendigo, on the East side.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

TENTH SCHEDULE.

District of Clyde, April 20, 1875.
To the District Officer at Clyde.

WE Hereby give Notice that we intend to construct a Water Race for irrigation and Agricultural purposes, commencing at a point in the Tynwald Creek Wanaka, and terminating at northern boundary of our Agricultural Lease No. 154, being section 2, Tarras district, and section 13, Wakefield District.

The length of such race is half a mile or thereabouts, and its intended course is north and south.

The mean depth and breadth of such race is three feet by two feet and it is capable of carrying six sluice heads of water.
