The length of such dam retaining wall will be 100
yards, or thereabouts, and its intended area one and a
half acres.

The height and width of such wall will be five feet by
six feet at the base, and is capable of containing 40,000
gallons of water.

TENTH SCHEDULE.

District of Mount Ida, 12th April, 1875.
To the District Land Officer at Naseby.

I HEREBY give Notice, that I intend to construct a
Water Race for irrigation, farming, and domestic
purposes, on Mr. Main's Run 205, Hyde, commencing at
a point at Coal Creek two hundred yards above the shep-
herd's stone hut, on the bridle track leading to Taieri
Lake Home Station, and terminating section 15, block VI,
Township of Hyde.

The length of such race is one mile and a half, or
thereabouts, and its intended course is north-east, and it
will pass through a portion of the said Run, and the pad-
dock of Messrs. Dowling thereon situate.

The mean depth and breadth of such race is 6 inches
by 6 inches, and it is capable of carrying one-half sluice
head of water.

CROWN GRANTS for the Land, and in favour of
the persons after mentioned, are now ready for
delivery, and attention is directed to the following
clause of the "Crown Grants Act, 1866"—

Clause xxxix.—There shall be paid upon all grants to
be hereafter issued, which may be left in the charge
and custody of any Commissioner of Crown Lands,
or other officer charged with the delivery of the
same, a fee of sixpence for every month during
which they shall be so left after the expiration of
three months from the date of the notice in the
Gazette of the Province wherein the lands are
situate, that such Grants are ready for delivery."

Notice is hereby Given, that the undermentioned sec-
tions will be open for application on deferred payments
on Tuesday, the 4th day of May, 1875. Application must
be made by the applicant in person, at any Land Office
in the Province, and a deposit of 1s. 3d. per acre paid at
the time of making the application, being the first half-
year's occupation fee. The purchase money is payable
at the rate of 2s.6d per acre per annum for ten years.

Plans to be seen, and lithographs obtained, at the Land
Office at Dunedin.
