AMENDED NOTICE.
SUPREME COURT.
NOTICE is hereby given, that a sitting of the Supreme Court, for the despatch of Criminal and Civil business, will be helden at the Supreme Court House at Dunedin, on Monday the 12th day of April next at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon, at which time and place all persons bound by recognizances to appear as prosecutors, plaintiffs, defendants, or witnesses, are required to give their attendance.

SUPREME COURT CIRCUIT SITTING.
NOTICE is hereby given that a Circuit Court sitting of the Supreme Court for the despatch of criminal and civil business will be helden in the Court House, at Lawrence, on Tuesday, the 16th day of March next, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon and place all persons bound by recognizances or otherwise to appear as prosecutors, plaintiffs, defendants, or witnesses are required to give their attendance.
POSTMASTERS in the Country Districts
will please inform me when any person to whom a Gazette is addressed leaves their district, in order that their Gazette may be stopped.

NORTH-EAST VALLEY ROAD BOARD.
TENDERS are invited to form and metal a deviation of the Signal Hill Road. Plan and specification can be seen at King’s Store, North-East Valley. TENDERS are also invited to form about 80 chains, 16 feet wide, and remove the bush on about 50 chains, the width of 40 feet. The work will be pointed out by the Inspector on Thursday, the 11th March, at 9 a.m. Plan and specification at Upper Junction Hotel.
TENDERS are also invited to supply, break, and spread 500 yards 3 in. road metal, being 200 yards on section 12, and 300 yards on section 18, Pine Hill. Parties tendering for the above works, can leave Tenders at the North-East Valley Schoolhouse, on or before the 13th March, at two p.m. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted by the Board.

REGULATIONS OF WARDENS OF MOKARETA HUNDRED FOR 1875.

The number of cattle to be allowed to be depastured on the Mokareta Hundred in 1875 shall be not more than fifty head of great cattle, or two hundred and fifty head of small cattle.

Every license holder shall be entitled to depasture one head of great cattle on the waste lands within the Hundred in 1875 for any acreage of land which he may own or occupy up to three hundred acres, and one additional head of great cattle for every three hundred acres he may own or occupy.

No small cattle shall be allowed to be depastured on the waste lands adjoining the township of Wyndham, except as provided by the Bye-Laws.

MOKARETA HUNDRED.
BYE-LAWS agreed to at Meeting of Wardens, 15th February, 1875:—

No person shall bring any cattle to the Mokareta Hundred to be depastured thereon, nor shall any person remove any cattle therefrom, without giving at least one day’s notice of his intention so to do, to a Warden; but this Bye-Law shall not apply to persons driving cattle through the Hundred, unless such cattle shall have continued upon the Hundred for a longer period than twenty-four hours.

No person shall disturb or harass cattle lawfully depasturing upon the Hundred, provided always that any person holding a license to depasture cattle within the Hundred, or any person duly authorised by him, may drive such cattle to him, and for the legitimate use of his right of pasturage within the Hundred; but in case it should be necessary for such purpose to drive any cattle belonging to any other person to a greater distance than half a mile the person so driving such cattle must separate his own cattle from those of other persons, and return the latter to the place from whence they were driven.

The number of small cattle that shall be allowed to be depastured on the Waste Lands adjoining the township of Wyndham, shall not exceed sixty head.

Every person offending against any of the foregoing Bye-Laws shall forfeit any sum not exceeding five pounds for every such offence.

WEST TAIERI HUNDRED REGULATIONS.
At a Meeting of Wardens of the above Hundred, held on the 25th day of February, 1875, it was agreed:
1st. That the portion of land set apart for depasturing small cattle, shall be that part of the Hundred lying to the south of the Waipori River.
2nd. Great Cattle may be depastured on the remainder of the Hundred.
3rd. The number of cattle which may be depastured by each license holder, viz.:—
