NOTICE

Of certain lands at Riverton, in the Province of Otago, having been set apart as a Reserve for Recreation.

By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have, under and by virtue of Section 62 of the "Southland Waste Lands Act, 1865," recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be reserved for the purposes of public Recreation for the use of the inhabitants of Riverton; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now, therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a Reserve for the purposes of public recreation for the use of the inhabitants of Riverton: (that is to say)—

All that area in the Province of Otago, containing by admeasurement one acre and three roods, being sections 1, 2, 3, 11, 12, 14, and 15, block XVII., Town of Riverton, as the same is delineated on the Record Map in the Survey Office, Invercargill.

Of certain land at Athol, in the Province of Otago, having been set apart as a reserve for a public School site.

By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have, under and by virtue of Section 62 of the "Southland Waste Lands Act, 1865," recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be reserved as a site for a public School; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now, therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a Reserve as a site for a public School: (that is to say)—

Sections 5 and 6, block II., Athol, containing one acre.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have, under and by virtue of Section 62 of the "Southland Waste Lands Act, 1865," recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be reserved as a Recreation Reserve for the public use of the town and district of Invercargill; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now, therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a Recreation Reserve for the public use of the town and district of Invercargill: (that is to say)—

Sections 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16, block XLVI., Town of Invercargill, containing two acres and one rood.

Of certain land at Campbelltown, in the Province of Otago, having been set apart as a Reserve for an Atheneum.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have, under and by virtue of Section 62 of the "Southland Waste Lands Act, 1865," recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be reserved for an Atheneum for the use of the inhabitants of the Town of Campbelltown and district; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now, therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a Reserve for an Atheneum for the use of the inhabitants of the town of Campbelltown and district: (that is to say)—

All that parcel of land, being part of section 3, block XII., Campbelltown, containing one rood, bounded towards the north by Barrow street, 159 links; towards the south-east by the boundary of the town, 276 links; towards the south by section 4 of said block, 42 links; and towards the west by a line at right angles to Barrow street (26 links from the south-east corner of section 2 of said block) 250 links.
