NOTICE
Of certain land in the Province of Otago having been reserved as a site for a public Cemetery at Mataura,
By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have, under and by virtue of Section 160 of the “Otago Waste Lands Act, 1872,” recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be reserved as a site for a public Cemetery, at Mataura District, and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now, therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a reserve for a public Cemetery, at Mataura: (that is to say)—
All that area in the Province of Otago, Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less situate in the south-eastern corner of Block XVII, Township of Mataura Bridge, bounded towards the north by section 1 of said block, twelve hundred and fifty links; towards the east by a road line, eight hundred links; towards the south by section 11, block III, Tuturau District, twelve hundred and fifty-four tenths links; and on the west by section 13 of said block XVII, eight hundred links.

Of certain land in the township of Mataura Bridge in the Province of Otago, having been set apart as a site for an Athenaeum.
By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have, under and by virtue of section 160 of the “Otago Waste Lands Act, 1872,” recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be set apart as a site for an Athenaeum, and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now, therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a reserve for a site for an Athenaeum: (that is to say)
Sections 1 and 15, Block V., Mataura Bridge Township.

Of certain lands at Invercargill, in the Province of Otago, having been set apart as a Reserve for Collection and Supply of Water for the Town of Invercargill.
By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have, under and by virtue of Section 62 of the “Southland Waste Lands Act, 1865,” recommended that the land hereinafter described should be reserved as a reserve for collection and supply of water for the town of Invercargill, and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now, therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a reserve for collection and supply of water for town of Invercargill: (that is to say)
One block 360 acres, being section 133 in the Forest Hill Hundred, situated near the head of the west branch of the Dunsdale Creek, and bounded towards the east by section 134 of said Hundred 3859 links; towards the north-east by a line bearing 297dg. 20min., a distance of 7036 links; towards the north-west by a line at right angles to the north-east boundary, 4770 links; towards the south-west by a line parallel to the north-east boundary, 6212 links; and towards the south by a line running due east, 2922 links; and one block of 40 acres, being section 134 in the Forest Hill Hundred, bounded towards the south-east by section 52 of aforesaid Hundred, 3960 links; on the south by a line running due west, 269 links; towards the west by section 133 aforesaid, 3859 links; and a line running due north, 8756 links; toward the north by a line running due east, 4000 links; towards the east by a line running due south, 3752 links; again towards the south by a line running due west, 230 links; again towards the east by a public road, 1914 links, 1368 links, 1248 links, and 644 links; and a line running to the north-east corner of section 52 aforesaid, 2819 links, always excepting out of the land described the reserved track running through the said blocks.

By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have, under and by virtue of Section 62 of the “Southland Waste Lands Act, 1865,” recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be reserved as a site for a public Market; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now, therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a Reserve for a public Market: (that is to say)
All that parcel of land in the Province of Otago, in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement two (2) roods, more or less, situate in the town of Invercargill, being section 1, block LXXVII., bounded towards the north by a road line two hundred and eight links; towards the east by Clyde street, two hundred and forty links; towards the south by Forth street, two hundred and eight links; and towards the west by Crown lands, two hundred and forty links.
