NOTICE
By exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described as a reserve as a site for a Mechanic’s Institute, Township of Herbert (that is to say,)
Sections 9 and 10, Block XXII., township of Herbert.

Of certain lands at Tokomairiro, in the Province of Otago, having been set apart as a Quarry Reserve.
By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have, under and by virtue of Section 160 of the “Otago Waste Lands Act, 1872,” recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be preserved as Quarry Reserve for the use of the inhabitants of Tokomairiro; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now, therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described as a Quarry reserve: (that is to say)—
All that parcel of land in the Province of Otago, in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods and 5 poles, more or less, situate in Tokomairiro District, being section numbered 14, block XXXVII., on the map of the said district; bounded towards the north-west by part of section numbered 7, four hundred and fifty links; towards the north-east by section numbered 8, one thousand one hundred and eighty links; towards the south-east by a road line, one hundred and fifty-eight links; and towards the south-west by part of section numbered 7, one thousand links.

Of certain lands of Akatore, in the Province of Otago, having been set apart as a site for a Quarry reserve.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have, under and by virtue of Section 160 of the “Otago Waste Lands Act, 1872,” recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be set apart as a Quarry reserve; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now, therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and in exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described as a Quarry reserve: (that is to say)—
All that parcel of land in the Province of Otago, in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement 6 acres, 3 roods, and 20 poles, more or less, situate in the Akatore District, being Quarry reserve, block I., on the map of the said District, bounded towards the north by section numbered 31, seven hundred links; towards the east by section numbered 31, one thousand links; towards the south by said section numbered 31, seven hundred links; and towards the west by sections numbered respectively 1 of 28 and 29, one thousand links, and intersected by a road line fifty links wide.

Of certain lands at Skipper’s, in the Province of Otago, having been set apart as a site for a public Library.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have, under and by virtue of Section 160 of the “Otago Waste Lands Act 1872,” recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be set apart as a site for a Public Library, and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now, therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and in exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a reserve for a public Library: (that is to say)—
All that parcel of land in the Province of Otago, in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement 26 poles, more or less, situate in Skipper’s Creek District, being section numbered 70, block XI., on the map of the said district; bounded towards the north-west by a road line, one hundred and eleven links; towards the north-east by section numbered 2, one hundred and sixty-nine links; towards the south-east by section numbered 30, one hundred and nineteen links; and towards the south-west by Crown lands, one hundred and twenty-five links.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have, under and by virtue of Section 160 of the “Otago Waste Lands Act 1872,” recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be reserved as a site for a public Cemetery, at Wyndham District, and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described as a reserve:
(That is to say)—
All that parcel of land in the Province of Otago, containing by admeasurement 13 acres, 3 roods, and 30 poles, more or less, situate in the Waikaka District, being section numbered 14, block VIII., on the map of the said District; bounded towards the north by a road line, one thousand four hundred and six links; towards the east by a road line, two hundred and nineteen and five-tenths links; towards the south-east by the Waiariki Stream, two thousand seven hundred and fifty links; towards the south-south-west by the Tuturau District, seven hundred and eleven links; and towards the west by Crown lands, one thousand two hundred and twenty links.
