will be offered for sale by Public Auction at the Survey Office, Clyde, on Tuesday, the 15th day of December next, at noon, at the upset rent of £5, subject to repayment of half valuation (viz., £161 1s. 9d.) for improvements to the adjoining lessee.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that section 44,
Block III, Table Hill District, containing 52a. 3r.
4p., will be offered for sale by public auction at the
Survey Office, Lawrence, after the Town sale there, on
Monday, the 22nd day of December next, at noon, at the
upset price of £1 1s. per acre. Immediately after, section

1a. 0r. 35p., will be offered at the upset price of £1 per

Mr. Murcott’s Hotel, Hampden, on Tuesday, the 22nd
day December next, after the Town Land sale at 2 p.m.;
the former at the upset price of £2 per acre, the latter at
£2 2s. per acre.

DEFERRED PAYMENTS.—DART HUNDRED.

TUESDAY 10th NOVEMBER, 1874.

NOTICE is hereby given that Sections 1, 2, 5, 6, 9, 10,
15, 16, 23, 24, 27, 28, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 38, 39,
Block I, Earnslaw District, Dart Hundred, will be open
for application on deferred payments, on and after
Tuesday, the 10th day of November, 1874.

Application must be made by the applicant in person,
at any Land Office in the Province, and a deposit of
1s. 3d. per acre paid at the time of making the application, being the first half-year’s occupation fee. The
purchase money is payable at the rate of 2s. 6d. per acre
per annum for ten years.

Plans to be seen and lithographs obtained at the Land
Office at Queenstown, and at Dunedin.

To the District Land Officer at Clyde.

HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that I intend to construct a water-race for irrigating purposes, commencing at a point—the Upper Gorge, Manuherikia,
near my house, on Black’s Flat, and terminating in my
paddock. The length of such water-race is 30 chains or
thereabouts, and its intended course is south-west. The
mean depth and breadth of such water-race is 18 by 36
inches, and is capable of carrying four sluice-heads of water.

TENTH SCHEDULE.

District of Blacks,
October 26th, 1874.

To the District Land Officer, Clyde.

WE HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that we intend to
construct a water-race for irrigation and domestic
purposes, commencing at a point in the most westerly
branch of Chiato Creek, and picking up water from each
tributary in its course, and terminating in Spottis Creek
below Section 33, Block I, Tiger Hill; the length of such
water-race is 10 miles or thereabouts, and its course is
cast, (this race is already constructed and known as the
“Golden Gate Water-race,”) the mean depth and
breadth is four feet by one foot, and is capable of carrying 4 sluice-heads of water.
