NOTICE

A Statement of the said Rate is open for inspection, on every lawful day, at the Office of the Board, Highcliff.

All objections (on whatever grounds) to the Rate must be forwarded to me before the 12th November, 1874, and all such objectors will be heard in support of their objections at a Special Meeting of the Board, to be held at the usual place, on Saturday, 14th November, a. 12 Noon.

NOTICE

Deborah Bay Subdivision of the Blueskin Road District.

THE owners or occupiers of property in the above subdivision are hereby requested to remove all fences, buildings, or other obstructions they may have erected, or have in use, on or across any district road adjoining their properties, within three months from date of publication of this notice, otherwise legal proceedings will be taken against them for obstructing such district roads.

NOTICE TO MAKE A FENCE.

To MR. FINLAY McKAY, or owner of Sections 32, 33, and 36, Block I, Tuturau Hundred.

TAKE NOTICE that I desire that the boundary of a separating fence between Section 6, Block I, Tuturau Hundred, and the above-mentioned Sections be made immediately, and that such fence be constructed in accordance with description No. 1, Schedule B, of the Fencing Ordinance.

NOTICE TO FENCE.

To Henry Driver and John Maclean, of Dunedin, in the Province of Otago, and to whom it may concern.

TAKE notice that we desire that the boundary or separating fence between sections 16 and 17, Block XIV, New River Hundred, be made immediately, and that such fence shall be a bank or dyke not less than two feet six inches high with a ditch not less than three feet wide and two feet six inches deep, with post not less than four feet six inches high from the surface of the ground, nor more than nine feet apart, inserted not less than two feet into the ground, with three rails or wires, the posts to be not more than eight feet apart.

THE Seaside Road Board

THE Seaside Road Board intend at their Meeting on the 24th October, 1874, to levy a General Rate, for the year ending 30th June, 1875, of One Shilling in the £ on the full nett annual value of property within the District. And further Notice is given that the said Road Board intend to levy a Special Rate of Threepence per £ on the full nett annual value of all rateable property within the Seaside Road District for the year ending June, 1875.

The Rate Roll may be seen at the house of the undersigned on and after the 24th October, 1874.

Subsection 1.—Tenth Schedule.

District of Black’s, October 3rd, 1874.

To the District Land Officer at Clyde.

HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that I intend to construct a Water-race for irrigating purposes, commencing at a point—the Upper Gorge, Manuherikia, near my house on Black’s Flat, and terminating in my paddock. The length of such Water-race is 30 chains or thereabouts, and its intended course is south-west. The mean depth and breadth of such Water-race is 18 by 36 inches, and it is capable of carrying four sluice-heads of water.
