NOTICE TO APPLICANTS FOR UNSURVEYED LAND.
Under "Otago Waste Land Act, 1872."
It is hereby notified to the applicants whose names appear in the subjoined Schedule, that they have been declared to be the Purchasers of the Sections set opposite their names in the Schedule, and that the purchase money of these sections must be paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue in Dunedin, on or before Wednesday, the 27th day of May, 1874, otherwise the applications will be deemed withdrawn, cancelled and void, and the deposit made at the time of lodging the application will be forfeited.

MR. J. MILNER, as instructed by the Provincial Government, will sell by public auction, in the long-room of the Provincial Hotel, Dunedin, on Thursday, the 14th day of May current, at 2 o’clock p.m., the following Forest Tree Seeds, received from San Francisco, to be divided into lots to suit purchasers:—
- Pinus Insignis
- Pinus Lambertiana
- Pinus Sabiniana
- Pinus Torreyana
- Abies Douglasii
- Sequoia Gigantia
- Cupressus Macrocarpa
- Cupressus McNabiana
- Cupressus Goveniana
- Californian Laurel
- Cupressus Lawsoniana
- Pinus Coulteri
- Abies Nigra.
The advertisement in Gazette of 22nd April last, respecting the disposal of the above seeds at prime cost, was, at the request of several gardeners and nurserymen, withdrawn, and the seeds will be disposed of as above.

NOTICE is hereby given that the land being re-claimed Sections Nos. 1 to 7, block I.I.I. Dunedin, containing upwards of 1 rood each, suitable for manufacturing purposes, and adjacent to the Railway Station, will be offered for sale, under special conditions, by public auction, by Mr. James Milner, at the Land Office, Dunedin, at noon on Tuesday, the 19th day of May, 1874. NOTICE is hereby given that Section 1 Block 1, Coast District, containing 51a 0r 18p, will be offered for sale by public auction as land of special value at Barr’s Hall, Balclutha, at the upset price of £2 per acre.
Sections 13 and remaining part of Section 7 and Block 37, Toko-mairiro, containing respectively 1a 2r 17p and 19a for 6p, at the upset price of £1 1s per acre, on Tuesday, the 2nd day of June next at noon.
NOTICE is also given that Section 2 of 15 Block 1, Claren-don District, containing 30 acres, will be offered for sale by public auction at the auction rooms of Messrs Capstick, Duthie and Capstick, on Tuesday, the 2nd day of June next, at noon, at the upset price of £1 1s per acre.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the above Board intend to form a road line on part sections 44, 45, and 46, irregular block, 5, 6, and 12, block XIII, and 1, block V Taieri District; said road to be 100 links wide, and under the authority and powers vested in the Board, as per "Highway Boards Empowering Act," together with the "Lands Consolidation Act." The plan of the above road can be seen by any person interested for 40 days from this date, at the School House, Mosgiel, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.; and any persons affected by the above are required to state their objections in writing, and forward to the Board within 40 days from this date; and the Board will meet to hear and decide upon objections (if any) on Monday the 6th day of July, 1874, at 7 p.m.

PENINSULA ROAD BOARD.

TENDERS are requested for the following Works:—
I. 30 yards best blue metal on road leading from Portobello road to Mr. T. Robertson’s, Tomahawk.
II. 100 yards metal on Beach Road, leading from Bay View Hotel to Goat Hill, Anderson’s Bay.
III. Cutting and filling up on road leading to George Anderson’s, N. E. Harbour. Specifications to be seen at Mr. Anderson’s and work shown on Friday, 15th instant, at noon.
Tenders for above to be sent in not later than Saturday, 16th instant, at 12 noon. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
