PUBLIC NOTICE.

Under Section I. of Regulation IV.

WHEREAS I have received sufficient proof that the portion of the Otago Goldfield, described in the Schedule hereto, is for the whole or the greater part of an inferior character as regards the value of its gold deposits: Now, therefore, I hereby give notice that the same may be occupied by holders of Miners’ Rights in claims of the undermentioned size:

One (1) Acre for each Holder of a Miner’s Right, provided that no Block Claim shall comprise more than six (6) acres altogether.

SCHEDULE.

All that portion of the Otago Goldfield, situate on the West side of Surprise Gully, near A. McG. Brown’s claim, Naseby, bounded on the North by old workings 40 yards; on the South by old workings 40 yards; on the East by old workings 80 yards; on the West by Crown lands 80 yards; comprising in all about three quarters of an acre.

OTAGO DOCK TRUST.

Tenders will be received at the Office of the Trust, Temple Chambers, Princes-street, Dunedin, until noon of Tuesday, 7th April, 1874, for the erection of Workshops at Port Chalmers.
