WE hereby give Notice, that we intend to construct a Water-race, for irrigation and supplying water to paddocks, commencing at a point in the Pigburn Stream about a quarter of a mile above our homestead freehold, and terminating in the Taieri River at a point near the sheepwash.
The length of such water-race is three miles and a half, or thereabouts, and its intended course is nearly north and south. The mean depth and breadth of such water-race, 3 feet by 1 foot 6 inches, and it is capable of carrying four sluice heads of water.
