TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 10th February, 1874, for

Contract No. 864.—Construction of portion of road between Wangaloa to Tokomairiro, situate between a point near Two Stone Hill and the Devil’s Bridge.

Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at Police Camp, Tokomairiro.

Tenders to be indorsed “Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 864.”

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

PROVINCIAL SCHOLARSHIPS.—The following Regulations of the Education Board respecting Provincial Scholarships are published for general information. School teachers are requested to forward to me, before the 1st April, 1874, a list containing the names and ages of intending competitors belonging to their several schools. For Regulations see Gazette published in December last.
