J. K. Cameron, Esq., Conical Hills Station.
One white steer, branded like N 3 near rump, like GN off ribs, indistinct brand off thigh.
One light strawberry steer, near horn broken, N 3 near rump.
Notice sent to supposed owner, for trespassing on Conical Hills Station, for which ten shillings each driving expenses are claimed, and in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the public pound at Tapanui on Friday, the 7th day of November, 1873, at 12 o’clock noon.

I HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct a Water Race for industrial purposes, commencing at a point at Benger Creek about half a mile above the Gorge, and terminating at the lower end of Moss Flat, opposite Brass’s Hotel.
The length of such race is three miles or thereabouts, and its intended course is about easterly.
The mean depth and breadth of such race is 3 feet by 8 feet, and it is capable of carrying four sluice heads of water.

CORPORATION OF INVERCARGILL.
£3,500 LOAN.
THE Town Council having resolved, under the borrowing powers conferred on the Corporation by the “Otago Municipal Corporations Ordinance 1866,” to contract a second loan of £3,500, sealed tenders will be received up to 3 p.m. of the 20th November, 1873, for Seventy (70) Fifty Pounds (£50) Debentures. To have a currency of twenty years from the date of issue, and bear interest at the rate of six per cent. per annum, payable at Dunedin or Invercargill. The highest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

NOTICE
NOTICE is hereby given that from and after this date any person removing cattle from off the land belonging to Mr Samuel O’Kane, Reliance Hotel, Outram, and situate in blocks III, IV, and V., Otakia district, without first giving Mr O’Kane notice of his intention so to do will be prosecuted according to law—the penalty for said offence being any sum not exceeding £50; and further notice is hereby given, that from and after the 10th day of November next all cattle found trespassing on said land will be impounded.

Take notice that we desire that the boundary or separating fence between sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 9, block IV, Dunedin and East Taieri District, and the above mentioned sections, be made immediately, and that such fence shall be a fence of posts and six wires, with posts not more than eight feet apart, inserted not less than two feet into the ground, the upper wire to be not less than four feet three inches from the ground, and that a bank about 9 inches high and 12 inches broad be raised along the bottom of the fence, on which a mixture of gorse and broom will be sown.

CORPORATION OF INVERCARGILL.
Loan, £3,500, at Six per cent.
THE Town Council having resolved, under the borrowing powers conferred on the Corporation by the “Otago Municipal Corporations Ordinance 1866,” to contract a second Loan of £3,500, sealed tenders will be received up to 3 p.m. of the 20th November, 1873, for Seventy (70) Fifty Pounds (£50) Debentures. To have a currency of twenty years from the date of issue, and bear interest at the rate of six per cent. per annum, payable half-yearly at Dunedin or Invercargill. The highest or any tender not necessarily accepted. Tenders to be endorsed, “Tender for Debentures.”
The interest and sinking funds on loans are a first charge upon the rates. The debentures will be redeemable by a sinking fund, invested annually by Trustees appointed by the Superintendent.
The money raised will be expended exclusively on the drainage of the town and formation of streets.
The rates for the statutory financial year, ending 19th April, 1872, amounted to £1046 9s, of which £10 18s 6d remains unpaid.
For 1873, £1230.
For 1874, £1386.
The annual revenue amounts to about £4000.
The financial position of the Corporation is shown by the Balance Sheet and Estimate of Revenue, published in the Provincial Government Gazettes of 15th January and 30th April, 1873, respectively.

Invercargill for Bluff at 2 p.m.
Invercargill for Winton at 4 p.m.
Bluff for Invercargill at 4 p.m.
A train will leave Winton on Saturday evenings at 5.15, returning from Invercargill on Monday mornings at 7. There are no trains on Sunday.
