NOTICE.—A meeting of the Ratepayers in the Corstorphine district, will be held on Saturday the 11th inst., at 5 o’clock p.m., at Mr Sidey’s gate, to take into consideration a proposed new line of road, so as to afford a more easy access to the district.

NOTICE.—The Mornington District Road Board hereby give notice that they intend to levy a Highway Rate of 5 per cent. annual valuation for the current year. The Rate-book as prepared may be seen at the Post Office Mornington ten days from the date hereof.

CORPORATION OF PORT CHALMERS
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Valuator’s Assessment for the year 1873 has been submitted and allowed. That the same is deposited at my office, Court House, Mount street, and may be inspected by persons interested therein, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
It is also further notified that appeals against the Assessment may be lodged with the undersigned until the 11th day of October proximo.
The appellant must also lodge a copy of his appeal with the Clerk of the Resident Magistrate’s Court six clear days before the day appointed for hearing such appeals.

District of Lawrence, 26th September, 1873.
To the District Land Officer at Lawrence.
HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct a Water Race for industrial purposes, commencing at a point at Benger Creek about half a mile above the Gorge, and terminating at the lower end of Man Flat, opposite Brazil’s Hotel.
The length of such race is three miles or thereabouts, and its intended course is about easterly.
The mean depth and breadth of such race is 3 feet by 3 feet, and it is capable of carrying four sluice heads of water.
