OTAGO WASTE LANDS ACT 1872.

Section LXV, Subsection 1.

Tenth Schedule.

District of Naseby, 25th Aug., 1873.

To the District Land Officer at Naseby.

I HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct a water-race for irrigation, sheepwashing, fellmongery, boiling-down establishment, turning water-wheel, and supplying water to my house, commencing at a point in the Otekaike river, about one mile above my present home station house, and terminating in my English grass paddock, about half-a-mile below my house.

The length of such water race is about 1 ΒΌ mile or thereabouts, and its intended course is northward.

The mean depth and breadth of such water race is 2 feet depth and 3 feet breadth, and it is capable of carrying 6 heads of water.

Any person objecting to the issue of a License to the above-named Applicant must lodge his objection in writing at my office within fourteen clear days from the date hereof.

INVERCARGILL, BLUFF & WINTON RAILWAY

On and after May 1st, 1873, daily trains will run as under:

Leave Winton for Invercargill at 8.15 a.m.
" Invercargill for Bluff at 9.45 a.m.
" Bluff for Invercargill at 11.45 a.m.
" Invercargill for Winton at 4 p.m.
" Bluff for Invercargill at 4 p.m.
A train will leave Winton on Saturday evenings at 5.15, returning from Invercargill on Monday mornings at 7.

There are no trains on Sunday.


DUNEDIN AND PORT CHALMERS RAILWAY

Time Table for October, 1873.

Passenger and goods trains will leave Dunedin and Port Chalmers respectively, calling at Intermediate Stations, as under:
