NOTICE is hereby given that the following Sections will be open for application on and after Thursday the 9th day of October next, at £1 per acre:—

THE Peninsula Road Board intend, at their meeting on Saturday, the 4th October, to levy a general Road Rate for the year 1873-74 of one shilling per pound on the full net annual value of all property within the district.

The statement of the proposed Rate will be deposited for inspection at the respective schoolhouse of each subdivision on and after Saturday, the 20th inst.

NOTICE.—The Seaside District Road Board having made a general district rate of One Shilling in the £ for the current year ending June, 1874, the Rate Book may be seen at the house of the undersigned, and parties considering themselves aggrieved by the said assessment, in respect of any error, omission, or surcharge, are hereby required to attend and state the same at a meeting of the Board, to be held in the house of Mr. Graham, Boat Harbor, on the 14th October, 1873, at 2 p.m.

NORTH-EAST VALLEY ROAD DISTRICT.—Tenders are invited for Formation and Metalling the Signal Hill Road, from Capt. Boyd’s fence passing through the Town Belt to join the Northern Cemetery Road. Plans and specifications at North-East Valley Schoolhouse. Tenders received till Saturday, the 20th September, at 2 p.m., at the Schoolhouse. The lowest or any Tender not necessarily accepted by the Board.

THE Portobello Road Board having resolved to make a general rate of one shilling in the £ on all rateable property within the district on the 30th inst., for the year ending June 30th, 1874, the rate book and estimates may be seen at the house of the undersigned.
