EDUCATION RESERVES, SOUTHLAND.
APPLICATIONS will be received by Mr. John H. Baker, Survey Office, Invercargill, from persons wishing to lease any of the Reserves as formerly advertised. Copies of the Otago Regulations and conditions for the Leasing of Education Reserves can be obtained from Mr. Baker, Invercargill.
WASTE LAND BOARD ADVERTISEMENTS.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Coal Lease for 14 years of Section 117, Block 2, Leaning Rock District, containing four acres and thirty-six poles, will be offered for sale by auction, at the Survey Office, Clyde, on Wednesday, the 15th day of November next, at noon, at the upset price or premium of £1. Rent to be £5 per annum, payable yearly in advance. The lease will be offered subject to the usual conditions—no more than £1 per ton is charged for the coal at the pit’s mouth. Conditions may be seen at the Survey Office, Clyde.

NOTICE to applicants for unsurveyed land under the Otago Waste Lands Act 1872.—It is hereby notified to the applicants whose names appear in the advertised Schedules, that they have been declared to be the purchasers of the sections set opposite their names in the Schedules; and that the purchase money of these sections must be paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue in Invercargill on or before Wednesday, the 8th day of October, 1873, otherwise the applications will be deemed withdrawn, cancelled and void, and the deposit made at the time of lodging the application will be forfeited.
