NOTICE.—The Balmoral Road Board hereby give notice to Messrs. Boyd Bros., to remove portions of their fence which encroach on the Main District Road between section 14, block VI, and section 2 of 13, block I, Hillend district, within 30 days from the date hereof, in accordance with clause 17th, "Otago Roads Ordinance 1871."

1 dark bay draught gelding, indistinct brand on off shoulder, star on forehead, shod all round;
Owner unknown; for trespassing on the streets in Oamaru, for which no damage is claimed; and in default of being released the above horse will be sold at the Public Pound at Oamaru, on Friday, the eighth day of August, 1873, at twelve o’clock noon.

ANNUAL ELECTION OF COUNCILLORS AND AUDITORS.
NOTICE is hereby given, that the Nomination of Candidates for the several offices of Councillors and Auditors, falling vacant on the last August prox., by rotation, will be declared on Friday, the 25th day of July instant, at the Terrace of the Provincial Council Chambers, Water street, at the hour of noon.
Nominations, in form of Schedule D of the “Otago Municipal Corporations Ordinance 1865,” can be lodged at the Town Clerk’s Office, Manse street (where blanks may be obtained), on or before noon of the day herein fixed for the declaration.
The Councillors retiring by rotation are:
- For South Ward—Councillor Robert Rossbotham.
- For High Ward—Councillor Keith Ramsay.
- For Bell Ward—Councillor William Henry Neale.
- For Leith Ward—Councillor Louis Thoneman.
