INVERCARGILL, BLUFF & WINTON RAILWAY

On and after May 1st, 1873, daily trains will run as under:—

Leave Winton for Invercargill at 8.15 a.m.

Invercargill for Bluff at 9.45 a.m.

Bluff for Invercargill at 11.45 a.m.

Invercargill for Bluff at 2 p.m.

Invercargill for Winton at 4 p.m.

Bluff for Invercargill at 4 p.m.

A train will leave Winton on Saturday evenings at 5.15, returning from Invercargill on Monday mornings at 7. There are no trains on Sunday.

DUNEDIN AND PORT CHALMERS RAILWAY.

I HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct a Head Water Race for Flour Mill purposes, commencing at a point about one half-mile above the gorge of Benger creek, and terminating at the lower end of Moa Flat, opposite Mr Brazil’s hotel.

The length of such race is three miles or thereabouts, and its intended course is east.

The mean depth and breadth of such race is 3 feet, and it is capable of carrying 4 sluice heads of water.

One red heifer branded JP off rump;

One red heifer, no visible brand;

One steer calf, no brand;

One red bullock, no visible brand;

One white heifer, branded OB off rump;

owner unknown; for trespassing on Messrs Cable and Drummond’s run, for which no damage is claimed; and in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the Public Pound at Lake Waipori, on the 25th day of July, 1873, at twelve o’clock noon.
