Contract No. 704.— Formation of 28 chains of road situated on the banks of the Oreti river, ten miles from the Elbow, on the road to Te Anau and Mararoa.
Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at Police Camp, Winton.

FRESH TENDERS for Works until noon of Tuesday, 11th Feb., 1873, for
Contract No. 698.— Construction and delivery of twenty-one railway goods waggons at the Bluff and Invercargill Railway.
Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the offices of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at Railway Office, Invercargill.
Tenders to be endorsed “Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 698.”

CONDITIONAL TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Works, until 7th Feb., 1873, from persons desirous of constructing a bridge over the Clutha River at the Beaumont, in terms of conditions to be seen at the office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at the Police Camp, Tuapeka, on and after the 15th instant.
EDUCATION RESERVES, SOUTHLAND.
APPLICATIONS will be received by Mr. John H. Baker, Survey Office, Invercargill, from persons wishing to lease any of the Reserves as formerly advertised.
Copies of the Otago Regulations, and conditions for the Leasing of Education Reserves, can be obtained from Mr. Baker, Invercargill.
FEMALE Teacher wanted for Caversham District School.
One capable of teaching vocal music preferred. Applications with testimonials to be forwarded to the undersigned on or before 10th February.

Salary—Government subsidy with school fees, subject to a slight deduction. Average attendance of pupils, 50; probable income, £200 per annum. There is also a good five-roomed cottage, as teacher’s residence, with well fenced garden, and a school glebe of 12 acres also fenced.
